The Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) organized a Mongolia-Russia business meeting and “Baikal Trade - 2019” joint exhibition on March 27-30 in Ulan-Ude, Russia.
During the business meeting, Mr. Alexey Tsydenov, Head of Russian Buryatia Republic, received Mongolian delegates, and both sides agreed to learn a possibility to expand the cooperation between Mongolia and Buryatia Republic in the fields of transportation, energy and environment and to bring the commercial and economic cooperation into a new level by exchanging information about new methods and innovations.
Afterwards, presentations were made by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Road and Transportation, Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry, Customs Agency, Ulaanbaatar Municipality, Administrations of Altanbulag Economic Free-Zone, UB Railways, the “Goyol Cashmere” and “Baganuur Nekhii” LLCs.
Executive Director of MNCCI Mr. T.Duuren met P.V.Yertanov, President of Buryatia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, concurring to boost the collaboration between the chambers.
The business meeting was followed by a B2B and the “Baikal Trade - 2019” exhibition of Mongolia and Russia-made products in the “Pioneer – 2” center.
Aiming at promoting Mongolian goods and giving potential to Mongolian companies for exporting their products and setting new partners, the joint exhibition was attended by some 20 Mongolian companies including “Goyo”, “Goyol Cashmere”, “Mon Cream”, “Baganuur Nekhii” LLCs and Russian 35 enterprises.
The Mongolian delegates led by authorities of the MNCCI visited the Buryatia Industrial Park, the “Oriential Wei” and “Buryatkhlebprom” joint ventures. During the tour, Director of the Buryatia Industrial Park Mrs. G.Popova expressed the willingness to cooperation with Mongolian businesspeople in establishing joint factories and supply products to Russia.
